Acknowledged Holidays
Our services are subject to increased holiday rates on the following dates:
• New Years Day (January 1st)
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4th)
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day (December 25th)
Cancellation Policy
Standard Visits: Reservations (excluding overnights) may be canceled up to one week before your scheduled visit without penalty. Cancellations made between one week and 48 hours of the start date will incur a 50% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first visit are non-refundable and charged in full.
Our Guarantee: In the unlikely event that Pet Nanny is unable to provide the scheduled service, the client will receive a full refund.
Overnight Policy
Cancellation Policy:
Overnight Services: Cancellations made between one month and one week of the start date will incur a 50% fee. Cancellations made within one week of the first visit will be charged at 100%.
Payment Policy:
If your check-out time (when Pet Nanny leaves your home) is later than your check-in time (when Pet Nanny arrives at your home), a fee of $20 per hour will be charged for up to four hours. After that, your stay will be considered an overnight stay, which does not include overnight accommodations.
Our Guarantee: In the unlikely event that Pet Nanny is unable to provide the scheduled service, the client will receive a full refund.
Client/Pet Nanny Agreement
Pet Nanny is authorized to perform care and services as outlined on this contract. Both Pet Nanny and Client recognize that the welfare of the animal is the highest priority. If in Pet Nanny’s judgment additional services become necessary during the service period to properly care for the animal, Pet Nanny will first make reasonable attempts to contact the Client. If Client cannot be contacted for whatever reason, Pet Nanny is authorized to undertake such additional steps as may in the reasonable judgment of the Pet Nanny be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal, including but not limited to (a) additional visits by Pet Nanny to provide care for the animal; (b) consultation with Client’s Veterinarian listed above, or with an emergency veterinary care provider should Client’s Veterinarian be unavailable; (c) authorizing care and treatment as recommended by Client’s Veterinarian or an emergency veterinary care provider (excluding euthanasia); and (d) such other steps as may in the reasonable judgment of Pet Nanny be necessary or appropriate for the health and welfare of the animal. Client agrees to be responsible for all fees and expenses incurred for care and treatment of the animal pursuant to this paragraph, and releases and holds Pet Nanny harmless from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expense. Client agrees to reimburse Pet Nanny/Company for any expense incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to animal’s needs or any expenses incurred for any other home/food/supplies needed.
Privacy Policy
Mobile and personal information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This policy outlines the processes by which personal data is collected, utilized, and stored. It includes information regarding opt-out options and provides relevant contact details. Furthermore, it details the measures taken to protect data and the protocols in place for handling any potential breaches. Lastly, users will be informed of any changes to this policy in a timely manner.
Weather
Professional Judgment & Care
In the event of inclement weather, Pet Nanny is authorized to use its best judgment to ensure the safety of your pet(s) and home. This may include altering visit times or replacing outdoor exercise with indoor enrichment and play. The Client agrees to hold the Company harmless for all decisions and actions taken in good faith to mitigate weather-related risks.
Cancellations & Credits
If the Client cancels services due to weather, no cash refunds will be provided. Instead, a service credit for the full value of the appointment will be issued for use toward a future date.
Misconduct
Pet Nanny agrees to provide the services stated in this contract in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Pet Nanny/Company arising out of or relating to the provision of services hereunder, except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Pet Nanny/Company. Should Pet Nanny or any authorized person accompanying Pet Nanny sustain any injury, disease or other harm in the course of providing services hereunder, client will indemnify Pet Nanny/Company and hold it harmless with respect to all loss, expense and damage caused thereby, except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Pet Nanny/Company.
Contract
Pet Nanny and Client each may terminate this contract at any time by written notice to the other. Pet Nanny will be entitled to payment for all services rendered until notice of termination is received, and for any transition services reasonably required to provide for the health and welfare of Client’s pets. Pet Nanny will not terminate during a period of scheduled service unless Pet Nanny determines, in his/her sole discretion, that a danger exists to the health or safety of Pet Nanny. If such concerns preclude Pet Nanny from providing further care of the pet, then Client authorizes pet to be placed in a kennel, with all charges therefrom to be charged to Client. Every attempt will be made to notify the Client regarding such a situation. Pet owner(s) agree to secure home prior to leaving the premises before services. Pet Nanny is not liable for loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime which should occur while under this contract. Client acknowledges that by signing below, he/she is providing written approval for the provision of services by Pet Nanny during any service period scheduled by Client and accepted by Pet Nanny. Upon such scheduling and acceptance, Pet Nanny/Company will be authorized to enter Client premises and perform services without additional signed contracts or written authorization.
